Happy Saturday!

It's baby "bath" time in our house and then baby "shower" time in Half Moon Bay for Brooke! It's a sip 'n see...we sip tea and get to see baby Sienna! Sophie is wearing a Lily Pulitzer dress. Ohhhh she's so sweet it breaks momma's heart!

Happpppy Hollow

Soph and I went to SJ today to the Great Mall, and to visit Genna. Afterwards we met up with my DEAR friends Kristen and Kim at Happy Hollow!!!

Happy Hollow is a park/zoo/amusement park for kids. It's so cute and was recently remodeled. There is a petting zoo with all kinds of animals, rides, picnic areas and it's just an all around amazing place. Matt is going to want to take Sophie there ALL the time I just know it! I love spending time with Kim and Kristen. They are the kinds of mothers I strive to be. Kim has 4 kids and Kristen 2. All are so well behaved and polite...yet totally active and fun. I love hanging with them. talan, Kristen's oldest (4) is so good with Sophie, always making her smile in such a sweet gentle way. Kristen is a nurse so I am constantly calling her for advice on both baby questions as well as medical. I feel very lucky to have both ladies in my life. This summer is going to be the best as we plan on hitting every zoo, theme park and going on lot's of hikes! Yay!

Sophie's dedication

Sophie's dedication reminded me how blessed I am to have the family and friends I do in my life. Sophie is such a loved child and it really showed on this incredible day as my entire family came to surround her with their support and love. When I say entire family, I mean ALL of them...aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents, my mommy, her godmother, adopted aunties, friends...we had the most people there and when they all had to come onto the stage to pray we took up a HUGE area. It was AWESOME! And thank you to my friends who weren't there but still checked in on that day to wish her a happy blessing day! That meant a lot. We all met at the church and from there had worship and the dedication started! Matt read a speech of our hopes and dreams for Sophie to the entire church. There was not a dry eye in the room. He read it straight from the heart and it showed. He is the worlds greatest father. Sophie is such a lucky little girl! After we prayed with the church and family Sophie got her first baby bible! It's precious.

Soph opening up one of her many gifts. She was graced with her first cross necklace from her godmother and another gorgeous diamond baby bootie necklace from auntie Lisa and uncle Brent. Both are amazing.
